You’ve seen him in cities All over the place, Slumped in a corner With a grin on his face From a distance he’s loud, Boisterous and leary But get up close and see He’s just sozzled, not scary His habits are bad, The fags that he smokes and the pies that he eats If no one is looking He’ll piss in the street His mating call is a belch, Does a courting dance of old Lurching and swaying to Spandau Ballet’ s ‘Gold’ The beer monster is drunk, will pick fights, fall asleep But as you can see He’s really quite sweet. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
